Vecinos de Santa Julia denuncian abandono: piden semáforos y grifos en la zona

Molestia e indignación llevó a un grupo de vecinos del sector de Santa Julia en Viña del Mar, a manifestarse y exigir que el Municipio como las autoridades competentes en materias viales respuesta a sus reiteradas peticiones, ya que llevan años solicitando la instalación de semáforos en el que califican el “cruce de la muerte”, ubicado en la esquina de las calles Las Azucenas con Sau Sau.

Al lugar llegó el Presidente de la Junta de Vecinos 90 de Santa Julia, Mario Navia, quien acusó burocracia de parte del Municipio como de la dirección de tránsito, ya que lleva desde el año 2016 solicitando un semáforo para el lugar “hemos hecho muchos trámites, y sabemos cómo está la burocracia en este país, y es la que siempre gana, enviamos las primeras cartas el 7 de marzo del 2016 para instalar un semáforo, aquí en el cruce pasan 4 líneas de buses, además de colectivos y vehículos particulares, y solo vemos la burocracia de la señora alcaldesa, Virginia Reginato, sabemos que ella no lee las cartas que enviamos y nos son capaces de darnos una respuesta, entonces pedimos que se ponga las pilas”.

Otra de las peticiones según enfatizó Navia, tiene que ver con la falta de grifos y la fiscalización de funcionamiento, ya que el mes pasado se quemaron 6 casas y bomberos no pudo operar con la eficiencia necesaria “hemos enviado cartas a las autoridades y a Esval, y según nos respondieron ellos manejan planos que no están actualizados, deben actualizar su información ya que el sector ha crecido y seguirá creciendo, ellos deben verificar si los grifos están actuando, no queremos que se sigan quemando casas, está es una población de autoconstrucción que está altamente expuesta”.

La manifestación contó con el apoyo del diputado PPD Rodrigo González, quién fue a entregar su apoyo y solidaridad con los vecinos, además de criticar la falta de gestión municipalidad para entregar respuestas concretas “este municipio adolece de falta de servicio a la comunidad en todos los barrios prácticamente, aquí en Santa Julia que es un barrio muy populoso, la quema de 6 casas, la necesidad de un semáforo, del mejoramiento de las vías de acceso, son situaciones que tienen indignados a los vecinos, además el municipio no se hace presente, no escucha sus demandas, y por eso es bueno que la comunidad se manifieste y el municipio empiece a entregar soluciones”.
