Ministra de Transportes y Telecomunicaciones junto a la Confederación Nacional del Transporte de Carga de Chile abordan desafíos relevantes del sector

La Ministra de Transportes y Telecomunicaciones, Gloria Hutt, se reunió esta mañana con la directiva de la Confederación Nacional del Transportes de Carga, con el objetivo de analizar la situación actual del sector y profundizar los desafíos que abordarán en conjunto para seguir profesionalizando la actividad.

«Nos reunimos con la directiva en pleno de la Confederación Nacional de Transporte de Carga para escuchar sus demandas. Estamos mirando cómo atender sus preocupaciones, porque entendemos que el servicio que prestan es vital para el desarrollo y conectividad del país. Creemos que trabajando en conjunto, podemos avanzar en mayor competitividad y profesionalización del sector», señaló la Ministra Hutt.

Los representantes del transporte de carga plantearon su inquietud por resolver en un plazo breve la variabilidad del precio de los combustibles, el tratamiento del impuesto específico y temas de operación del sector. Entre ellos, el despliegue de zonas de descanso, el desarrollo del Registro Nacional de Transporte de Carga y las medidas necesarias para acelerar la disponibilidad de conductores profesionales.

Asimismo, se discutió la necesidad de avanzar en el análisis de la competitividad del sector, frente a distorsiones detectadas en algunos casos concretos de transferencia de cargas en larga distancia.

La Ministra Hutt reafirmó la voluntad del ministerio de trabajar en junto con los gremios del transporte de carga, entendiendo el aporte que realizan en el desarrollo económico y conectividad de nuestro país.
