Emplazan a Subsecretario Salaberry a «cumplir su palabra» con estudio para la Región de Aconcagua

Un enérgico emplazamiento al subsecretario de Desarrollo Regional, Felipe Salaberry, hicieron organizaciones sociales, ciudadanos, alcaldes y parlamentarios para que cumpla su palabra y clarifique a la brevedad cuándo se realizará el estudio de factibilidad económica para la creación de la Región de Aconcagua.

Durante un encuentro, que reunió a más de 50 representantes de la sociedad civil y políticos, se firmó una carta dirigida al Presidente Sebastián Piñera; al ministro del Interior, Andrés Chadwick y al subsecretario Salaberry, en la que solicitanformalmente a este último que “cumpla con lo prometido en audiencia pública y se proceda al inicio del proceso de licitación para el estudio financiero, agregando la respectiva partida presupuestaria para tal efecto”.

La misiva explica que desde la reunión que sostuvieron el senador Francisco Chahúan y el secretario general de la Corporación Aconcagua Región, Claudio Gómez, no han  tenido noticias de Salaberry con respecto a su compromiso de realizar el estudio financiero, por lo que consideran necesario una aclaración formal, por respeto a la ciudadanía de Aconcagua.

Cabe señalar que  el 24 de septiembre de 2018, Chahúan y Gómez, fueron recibidos por el subsecretario de Desarrollo Regional en La Moneda, oportunidad en la que Salaberry les comunicó en forma expresa, que durante las primeras dos semanas de octubre, visitaría Aconcagua con la finalidad de dar a conocer formalmente el inicio del proceso de licitación para el estudio financiero para la Región de Aconcagua, agregando además que dicho estudio se licitaría a efectos de que fuera elaborado por alguna entidad externa, y así mantener la objetividad en el proceso.

Durante el encuentro realizado este viernes en San Felipe, la diputada Carolina Marzan sostuvo que “tenemos que seguir luchando para lograr nuestroobjetivo, ya que tenemos la convicción de que se debe crear la Región de Aconcagua y que este sueño se plasme”.

El senador Francisco Chahuán envió un mensaje en el que señaló que “queremos insistirle al subsecretario de desarrollo regional que cumpla la palabra empeñada y que en definitiva los estudios de evaluación económica se realicen, lo relevante es el cumplimiento de la palabra y yo seguiré apoyando la creación de la Región de Aconcagua por lo que haremos todas las gestiones necesarias para que esto se convierta en una realidad”.

Asimismo, el senador Ricardo Lagos Weber expresó que “el subsecretario de desarrollo regional recibió a un Senador de la República con dirigentes de la futura región de Aconcagua donde parecería se comprometió el Gobierno a licitar un estudio para la factibilidad económica, quiero saber si estos recursos están o no”.

El diputado Ibañez dijo “que este debate no puede quedar solo en el papel, por lo que necesitamos que el Gobierno le de financiamiento a los estudios de la región de Aconcagua y que sus parlamentarios presionen políticamente para que se avance en mayor justicia territorial”.

El vicepresidente de la corporación Aconcagua Región, Juan Carlos Monasterio, precisó que “esta situación tan poco clara que se ha generado por el informe de factibilidad económica tras la reunión con el subsecretario Salaberry es un atentado contra la inteligencia de los que asistieron y de toda la comunidad”.

ASOCIACIÓN DE MUNICIPALIDADES

El presidente de la Asociación de Municipalidades de la quinta región cordillera, Nelson Venegas dijo que “esto no se trata del Gobierno de turno sino de una política de Estado, algunos no quieren abrir los ojos, pero nosotros debemos comprometernos, por lo que llamo al alcalde de Los Andes a unirse a esta legítima demanda, ya que nos motiva un sueño justo y necesario”.

El diputado Marcelo Schilling, ya había señalado tras el anuncio del Plan Valparaíso que “la inversión está concentrada en la costa y no en el interior, el maltrato en términos de esta inversión alienta más la causa de Aconcagua Región, lo cual yo cada vez la encuentra más justa y necesaria”.

A la reunión asistieron además el alcalde de San Felipe, Patricio Freire; el alcalde de Santa María, Claudio Zurita; el consejero regional, Rolando Stevenson; el articulador del movimiento Yo Amo Región de Aconcagua, Yury Quiroz, comunicadores y dirigentes sociales, entre otros.

Recordemos que el 9 de marzo de 2018, durante el Gobierno de la Presidenta Michelle Bachelet, fue entregado el estudio de línea base que determino la factibilidad de la creación de la Región de Aconcagua incorporando las Provincias de San Felipe, Los Andes y Petorca. Actualmente, se espera el estudio de factibilidad económica, que tiene por objeto determinar el costo de implementar la Región y la comunidad confía en que se haga pronto, durante la administración del Presidente Sebastián Piñera.
