Diputado Pardo valora unánime aprobación de Comisión Investigadora por Quintero y Puchuncaví

Por 290 Comments

Como un respaldo contundente al arduo trabajo realizado, el diputado RN Luis Pardo, valoró la aprobación del informe por parte de la Cámara de Diputados, de la Comisión Investigadora sobre las causas de la alta contaminación ambiental, especialmente en Concón, Quintero y Puchuncaví, y de las responsabilidades en la ejecución del Plan de Descontaminación.
 
«Quedaron de manifiestas las responsabilidades de las autoridades del Medio Ambiente del Gobierno anterior, en relación al fallido plan de descontaminación que fue objetado por la Contraloría», indicó el Parlamentario RN miembro de la Comisión Investigadora.
 
Pardo agregó que: «Al mismo tiempo, estamos conscientes que hay mucho por hacer, también la Comisión valora que buena parte de las recomendaciones que nosotros mismos incorporamos en la resolución, ya están siendo aplicadas, como por ejemplo las nuevas normas en materia de calidad del aire, las mayores exigencias a las empresas en materia de dióxido de azufre, también la Gestión de Episodios Críticos que era una institucionalidad que no existía y que hoy día está funcionando a través de el decreto de alerta sanitaria, de manera que estamos avanzando en muchos temas». 
 
Finalmente, el diputado destacó las recomendaciones que se emanaron de la instancia, «como el contar con instrumentos que combinen las normas rígidas que determinan los máximos de contaminantes posibles con la condición meteorológica, el cerrar o limitar preventivamente las emisiones cuando las condiciones meteorológicas o ventilación de la cuenca no lo permitan, el que se esté comprometiendo en el Plan de Descontaminación una oficina de la Superintendencia del Medio Ambiente con base en Quintero, y con funcionarios que van a tener dedicación exclusiva a la fiscalización de ese parque industrial, entre otras medidas que van a permitir efectivamente mejorar la condición y la calidad de vida de todos quienes han sufrido por tantos años los efectos de la contaminación en Quintero y Puchuncaví».
